Port Blair, May 28: The 5th June is celebrated every year as World Environment Day. The theme for the occasion is “Beat Plastic Pollution”. The World Environment Day has always been a day a special important to India. The day has been celebrated as dedication of national efforts for sustainable development and mainstreaming environmental concern in the national developmental agenda.
As a part of celebration of the World Environment Day, 2023 the Zoological Survey of India, Port Blair is organizing an online Drawing Competition. Interested students, teachers, research scholars may participate drawing competition on the theme of the World Environment Day 2023.
