Port Blair, July 5: As per the schedule, the Written Examination (1st Phase of the Common Matric Level Recruitment Examination to fill up 2520 vacant posts of various category of Group ‘C’ posts) under different Department of A &N Administration will be held in two session (i.e. Morning and Evening) on 09.07.2023 (Sunday). The examination centres have been set up right from Campbell Bay in South to Diglipur in the North. The Examination Centre and time of Examination have suitably been indicated in each online Admit Card itself.

Further, all concerned candidates have been informed that he/she must appear/present in the examination strictly adhering to the ‘Instructions to the Candidates’ already published online along with Admit Card for the purpose. Candidates should reach the respective Examination Centre as have been prescribed in the online Admit Card. They should ensure themselves that nothing other than the online Admit Card additional photo bearing Identity card such as Aadhaar /Islander /PAN /Driving Licence /Voter Identity Card and necessary black ballpoint pen would be allowed within the complex of the Examination Centre.  Mobile Phones or any kind of electronic gadgets/devices are strictly prohibited within the complex of the Examination Centre. Recently, representations/ requests/ emails have been received from the candidates to consider their candidature to appear in the examination whose name misspelled, incorrect Date of Birth and different photograph or not uploaded photograph in the Admit Card.

Accordingly, keeping in view, the larger interest of the candidates, the Competent Authority has decided to accept the candidature provisionally to appear with proper authentic proof in original to be shown to the Centre Superintendent to certify himself /herself. It is also informed to those candidates whose photograph is not correctly uploaded in the Admit Card have been directed to bring additional three recent photograph at the respective Examination Centre along with Identity proof.

Violation of any norms and instructions in any extent shall be viewed seriously besides Police action.
