Cyber fraudsters are finding new methods to dupe vulnerable and unsuspecting citizens. Port Blair, Aug. 6: The Spot Round Counselling of CSAB NEUT- 2023 for allotment of vacant seats of degree level Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy course reserved at mainland institutions is scheduled to be held on 10.08.2023 at from am onwards in the Auditorium of Tagore Govt. College of Education, Port Blair.

The Spot Round allotment will be made to candidates as per JEE Main Rank – 2023 and category-wise vacant seats for Engineering and Architecture seats at the time of counselling. Port Blair, Aug 4: In a crucial step towards ensuring the right to health for the residents of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament has moved a Private Member’s Bill, “The Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Right to Health) Bill, 2023” today.

The proposed bill aims to provide comprehensive healthcare rights to the people of the Union Territory, emphasizing preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of health and wellness.

Port Blair, Aug. 6: The Department of Fisheries, A&N Administration is implementing a component “Motorization of Traditional Craft” under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme – “Blue Revolution” wherein subsidy is provided for purchase of Outboard/Inboard Marine Engine /Fishing Gear & Propeller. The pattern of subsidy and eligibility criteria for the programme of the scheme are as under:-

New Delhi, Aug 4: The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice and stayed the order of the Calcutta High Court which had suspended Keshav Chandra, Chief Secretary of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Administration and imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh in an order passed on August 3. The Calcutta High Court had fined Admiral D K Joshi, the Lieutenant Governor, Rs 5 lakh to be paid from his own funds for not implementing directions.
