Port Blair, May 22: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced admission/ re-registration to its academic programmes offered through open and Distance learning (ODL) online mode for the academic session commencing in July 2024. The university offers intensive Masters Degree programmes, Bachelors Degree programme, PG diploma, Diploma and certificate programmes in various subjects. The application for admission /re-registration should be submitted online at https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in  by 30th June 2024.

Port Blair, May 22: Passengers/ general public have been informed that due to technical reasons, the scheduled departure of the vessel MV Campbell Bay from Campbell Bay to Port Blair via Nancowry on 23.05.2024 at 0800 hrs has been postponed. Now, the vessel will sail for Port Blair on 24.05.2024 at 0800 hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry.

Squally weather with gusty surface wind exceeding 45 kmph is also very likely to be along and off A&N coast. Sea condition is very likely to be rough to very rough. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea till May 25.
