Port Blair, Aug 14: The recruitment examination through Computer Based Test (CBT) for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) under Port Blair Municipal Council is scheduled to be held on Sept. 4, 2023 at DBRAIT. Dollygunj. In this regard the hall ticket will be available for downloading from online portal of https://erecruitment.andaman.gov.in/crap/ at 11 am onwards from tomorrow (Aug.15). Candidates have been asked to download hall ticket directly from the portal. The time, venue, instructions and other details of examination is available in the hall ticket.

Port Blair, Aug 14: The vessel MV Swarajdweep which sailed from Vizag is expected to arrive at Port Blair at 7 pm on Aug. 16. She has on board 206 passengers. On arrival, the vessel will be berthed at Haddo Wharf and passengers will be disembarked immediately.

Port Blair, Aug 13: A seven-year-old male child was admitted in children ward with complaints of high grade fever with chills and rigor and pain in abdomen for the last 2 days. He was in an unstable condition in septic shock and was managed initially in the PICU by the Paediatric intensivists and the child was stabilized. Child was clinically found to have abdominal distension and an enlarged spleen.
