Port Blair, March 14: A delegation of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) led by Mr. Mitsunori Saito, Resident Representative alongwith Ms. Arisa Watanabe Assistant Resident Representative and Smti Aditi Puri, Principal Development Specialist India called on Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency today at Raj Niwas and discussed progress of 15 MWhr Battery Energy Storage System in A&N Islands. A&N Administration is committed to attain the objective of De-Dieselization and to improve renewable energy scenarios in the Islands.

Port Blair, March 14: The AMIE Summer 2021 Examinations (Section A – Diploma & Non-Diploma & Section B) will be held at DBRAIT, Pahargaon, Port Blair for 7 days from 20 to 26 March 2022.

All Candidate appearing for the exam need to submit a Self Declaration Form related to COVID-19 each Day/Session of the Examination. They should bring along a Pass Port size photo each Examination. The standard operating procedure, as per MHA guidelines may strictly be followed.

Port Blair, March 14: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 241passengers who arrived here yesterday, two positive cases have been detected. Today, 20 flights with 3311passengers arrived, out of which, 2990passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 236passengers and the reports are awaited.
