Port Blair, Oct. 31: Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary of Andaman & Nicobar Administration to induct atleast two bigger vehicle ferry vessels on lease for Bambooflat and Chatham sector.

The Member of Parliament has also requested the Chief Secretary to order immediate repair of all the vehicle ferry vessels, which are out of service so that the existing shortage can be addressed and the general public gets some relief.

Port Blair, Oct. 31: Deepawali festival will be celebrated on 04th November 2021 in A&N Islands. In view of the recent directions issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India on the control of Noise & Air Pollution during the festival season, general public is hereby informed that only the fire crackers falling into green crackers and improvised crackers shall be used strictly between 08.00 PM to 10.00 PM.

Late AP Mohammed during his life had been a social worker and was instrumental in setting up of MES School at Wimberlygunj. He was also the founder member of Andaman Mopla Service Organisation. Port Blair, Oct. 31: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary is being celebrated as 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' (National Unity Day) since 2014. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who is credited with uniting all 562 princely states of the pre-independent country to build the Republic of India, passed away on December 15, 1950.

Requests Chief Secretary to Further Extend Permit Period for all Tourist Vehicles till 31st March 2022

Port Blair, Oct. 29: Raising the issue of further extension of permit period for all the Tourist Vehicles, once again, the Member of Parliament of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary to take up this matter with the Government of India and get the extension of the permit period for all the Tourist Vehicles done to 31st March 2022.
