Port Blair, April 2: A blood donation camp was organized under the guidance of technical team of G.B Pant Hospital and AIDS Control society on 01/04/2023 in the Maharashtra Mandal premises. Social worker and volunteers from other organizations donated their blood and graced the occasion.

Port Blair, April 2: The 36th Convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be held on Monday, 03rd April, 2023. The main function will be held at IGNOU, HQ, New Delhi. The Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, will be the Chief Guest at HQ, New Delhi and deliver the Convocation Address.

Port Blair, March 31: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands to set up blood banks at District Hospital Mayabunder and Car Nicobar with an adequate number of supporting staff so that in case of any emergency need of blood, patients don't have to wait for several hours for a blood donor.

Port Blair, April 1: The vessel MV Swaraj Dweep which sailed from Vizag is expected to arrive at Port Blair on April 3, 2023 at 1000 hrs. She has on board 356 passengers. On arrival, the vessel will be berthed at Haddo Wharf and passengers will be disembarked immediately.
