Port Blair, April 24: The DMK Party, A&N Islands has requested the Director of Health Services, A&N Administration to increase the visiting hours at G.B. Pant Hospital to make it more realistic. In a letter to the DHS, the DMK State Organiser, Shri A.R. Marudhavanan mentioned that the present visiting slot at GB Pant is from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm, which is very uncomfortable. He said that while the govt. offices close by 5.00 pm, the private workers are also relieved only after 5.00 pm. In such situation, reaching the hospital within one hour with all the requirement of the patient proves to be tiresome for the visitors or relatives.

The Party Chief Organiser has thus made a request to the Director Health to increase the visiting hours by one hour i.e. upto 7.00 pm, which is also felt by most of the people who have their loved ones admitted in the hospital.
