NGOs’ Association Shows Solidarity with Aided School Teachers Agitating for Payment of Monthly Salary

Port Blair, Oct. 25: The Non-Gzetted Govt. Officers’ Association, A & N Islands has decided to extend support to the ongoing agitation of teachers and other employees of Nirmala Sr. Sec. School, Port Blair and MES Sr. Sec. School, Steward Gunj, the only two aided schools of A&N Islands who are on streets for the last many days as they were deprived of their monthly salary from the month of April 2021.

Port Blair, Oct. 25: With the persistent efforts of Ex-PRI members of Mithakhari, Tushnabad, Collinpur and Namunaghar and social workers of the areas, the Directorate of Health Services, A&N Administration has finally earmarked a new and modern ambulance for PHC Tushnabad. The ambulance is expected to be a great support to the referred patients of the area.

Port Blair, Oct. 25: A delegation of Andaman Association of Tour Operators led by its President Shri M. Vinod along with Shri PS Vijayan, Org. Secretary and Shri Vivek Singh, Vice -President met Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, DC South Andaman in his office and discussed various tourism related issues. The delegation requested the DC to consider the issues.

Port Blair, Oct. 25: Two new members namely Ayush Singh and Aman Kumar Singh have joined the National Students Union of India today under the leadership of ANTCC President, Shri Rangalal Halder, Campaign Committee Chairman, Shri G. Bhasker and NSUI President Shri MA Sajid. The new members were welcomed to the NSUI family, who expressed their faith and devotion towards Congress party and NSUI.
